A graphic design is a drawing or layout of an object, its contour or shape, or its embodiment as a model, idea, concept, or product. The word “design” is derived from the Greek word which means to shape or form. A graphic design is therefore a drawing or layout of any object, its shape or form, or its embodiment as a model, idea, concept, or product. The word “design” also refers to the method of constructing a graphic or images by applying various specified mathematical or technical principles to real or imagined objects.
The designer must apply mathematical or technical principles to the subject of the design process in order to generate ideas, produce a final product, and/or obtain approval for any part of the design process. The process of design can be used for many purposes. Designers use a design process to generate, plan, analyze, design, and create representations of their inventions, discoveries, and innovations. In the engineering discipline, designers are required to develop and manage an engineering project, design systems, and control processes.
Many business people believe that they are “thinking smart” by making things complicated. On the contrary, the reality is that business people should be thinking “intelligent” so that they can make profitable things for their customers. Design thinking is the third way that experts in business should use to find solutions for problems in business. If this creative thinking in design process is applied consistently, it can lead to better user experience, happier customers, and better profits.
